Let me tell you my story...
I migrated from Jamaica to the United States in 1986 with just $56 and a dream. By God’s grace, through faith, perseverance, and a commitment to personal growth, I have been blessed to build a life and legacy that has impacted thousands of people through business, ministry, leadership, coaching, and community service.
In 1997, my husband and I co-founded a law firm that grew into an award-winning practice and later merged with what was then the largest minority-owned law firm in the country.
In 2004, I founded Oasis Compassion Agency, a nonprofit organization that served thousands of families over a sixteen-year period and received numerous community leadership awards.
As if life wasn’t already full enough, in 2005 I became an ordained minister and co-founded Changed Lives Church in Lake Worth, Florida.
Over the years, these experiences have allowed me to coach, mentor, and consult with hundreds of leaders and teams in both the public and private sectors. I have also had the privilege of speaking at conferences, leading women’s ministries, and founding The Gorgeous Woman Movement, inspired by my book, The G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S. Woman Bible Study.
But if I am being completely honest, my deepest passion has always been uplifting and empowering women — especially women who are carrying great responsibility while trying not to lose themselves in the process.
I understand what it feels like to lead, build, serve, nurture, pour into others, and still wrestle with questions about balance, purpose, identity, and spiritual alignment.
That is why I created this space.

I certainly wasn’t born knowing how to do any of this.
But through faith in God, hard work, resilience, and a lifelong commitment to growth, I’ve learned that it is possible to lead well, live purposefully, and make an impact without losing your soul in the process.
