I was reading an entry in my journal from February 1, 2017 where I must have been having a bad day. The entry read like this:

"If you find yourself having a frustrating day, consider why you woke up this morning. Why did you thank God for another day? Was it for a day of misery, stress, and frustration, or was it for a day to glorify God?

Let me show you how I turned my day around. I TURNED MY THOUGHTS AROUND. Minutes before I had my best day of the year, I was having my worst day. I was frustrated by my lack of resources, absurdities of others, negativity all around.

Then God told me to open my eyes and observe the blessings all around me. The beautiful room I was in, the roof over my head, sunshine outside, my faithful dog, my family.

Before long, my blessings…
